Things to Know

Valet parking is now optional - it is included in the guests' resort fees.
This vacation rental does not have access to laundry facilities. The nearest laundromat is a mile and a half north.

Construction Disclaimer:
The pool will be unavailable due to construction from approximately May 2025 through end of 2025. Work will occur six days a week from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. High levels of noise are expected to be audible, as well as significant dirt and dust generation.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). I have stay at this location in prior years. Being familiar with the property, I did not anticipate the condition of the unit and feel the construction disclaimer was very very misleading. The pictures still showed property grounds. The disclaimer mentioned the pool construction and dust. It DID NOT say the entire garden area, paths, and outdoor area were not usable spaces. The unit was clean for what could be cleaned by regular cleaners however, the excessive carpet stains, dirty bed frame, and beat up furniture and cabinets was disheartening. The phone which was needed to call down to the desk for things was unavailable- ie- could not call for help or valet or luggage assistance. The on site staff is wonderful, the PM was Vacasa so I received all the auto texts with proper instructions. The owners of this unit don't seem to have much pride in it. I feel like I got the short end of the stick with this draw for the pricing comparable with other units I've stayed in at this location. (I am a Realtor/ property manager working for decades in the vacation rental business on the Gulf Coast of FL, please know, I've seen a lot in my days as I take the time to bring this to your attention)

Excellent!

Everything was perfect about this place. The grounds are gorgeous and clean. The unit was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Would definitely come back here again! One piece of advice. If you are looking for a more casual place to have dinner and drinks, check out the Salty Dog. It’s very close to the building and an easy walk. Also, we went a few times to Marco Island Brewery. Great atmosphere and food and beer were very good. You do have to drive there but well worth it.

Winter Escape

The resort is very nice, and it had the 3 requirements for a good stay, quiet, comfortable bed and hot water for good showers. The one thing it does need, is a coffee pot or a larger compacity keurig.

We did not have a good stay. I have reported how bad the room was. And no one seems to care. Floors Dirty and Stained. Couch was dirty and stained. Top gray blanket was dirty. Stains on sheets. Paint peeling around Mirror and rust around sink. Very outdated! Went to hang clothes up and Rod had an inch of dust on it. We had two Towels for our stay. Plenty of beach towels. Two Plates. Also thought we would get chairs for the beach. But we were told no. Not a happy customer. Elevator for parking did not work. Only good thing was the Staff.

My experience was good but if something goes wrong in the unit no one is available onsite to assist and we couldn’t get a response from the property manager.

Disappointed

This was a rough trip from beginning as the property management Vacasa did not send the keypad code so we could check in. It took 3 phone calls to finally get it. My husband arrived before me and spent two hours cleaning. There was a bug problem. Numerous calls to management did not resolve Anything. I can not recommend the unit. The building used to be quite nice when it operated as a hotel. Not as an individual unit. Now it feels a bit runs down. We were actually stuck in an elevator 10 minutes with no help. The phone on the elevator did not work. The elevator from the parking garage was also out of order the entire trip. The beach is of course beautiful so there is that and we do love Marco. We will just need to find a better place to stay next trip. Very disappointed in Vacasa and the care of this unit.
