Room was ok. Staff is generally very quiet and don’t say much. The man who helped carry our luggage to the room did not show us how to work the Tv controls (they were a bit confusing at first) or any other features of the room. When we told the desk clerk we were checking out there was no offer of help with the bags. (There are a lot of stairs to the room we had and many more to some of the others). Our biggest issue would be how expensive it is to do any outings from this place and the inexperience of the people at the travel desk. It would be great if they had a sign up board so guests could share taxi vans or boats to different sites and split the cost rather than paying US$200 everyday for every trip it seems. They should also give written receipts / reservation slips when guests book a trip. We were quoted one price for a trip and charged $30 more on checkout. We would also suggest that the management should be more visible and interact with the guests so these sort of issues can be discussed.
