YOSEMITE VISITATION INFO
• No Reservations Needed:
Vehicle reservations are officially NOT required for all of 2026! Standard entrance fees still apply at the gate. Check the official NPS website for real time road conditions before driving.
• YARTS Public Transit:
Want to skip the drive? The YARTS Bus System runs year-round along Highway 140 right through Mariposa. It provides a comfortable, stress-free ride directly into Yosemite Valley, and your park entrance fee is included in the bus ticket!

PET POLICY
• Well behaved pets are welcome with a standard pet fee! Please disclose upon booking.
• Please bring your own pet supplies, keep pets off furniture, and clean up the yard after them.
• Note: Yards are not fully enclosed, so please keep runners on a leash.

RURAL & MOUNTAIN LIVING
• Tesla Backup Generator:
While mountain areas occasionally experience regional power drops, our home features a backup Tesla generator system.
• Internet:
Mountain areas can occasionally experience regional internet drops. Backup LED lanterns are located in the hallway linen closet just in case.
• Surroundings:
Access is via unpaved gravel roads. Because of our rural location near the Fairgrounds, you may occasionally hear machinery, farm animals or the local shooting range used occasionally.
• Nature & Layout:
We are surrounded by wildlife! Please keep doors closed to keep bugs and critters out, and never leave pets or children unattended outside.
• The primary bathroom has a walk-in shower (no bathtub).
• Septic System: We are on a sensitive septic system. Strictly only toilet paper can be flushed (no "flushable" wipes).

REMOTE MAINTENANCE
• This is our home, not a hotel. While everything is in working order, we are located in a remote mountain town. If an issue arises, we will coordinate repairs immediately, but please note that local vendor response times can sometimes be delayed.
