The Space:

Tea Garden Creek Farm Retreat 2 by Tiny Away is set among green paddocks and a serene man-made pond. Just 20 minutes from Wangaratta, it offers the quiet beauty of the countryside, with stunning sunsets and easy access to nearby wineries, cafes, and local attractions.



A cozy 139-square-foot home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower



What’s more, you can discover the beauty of the region by car or e-bike along scenic trails. Visit iconic spots like Brown Brothers Winery, Woolshed Falls, and the Ned Kelly Museum. In winter, head to Mt. Buffalo or Mt. Hotham for snow-filled fun—or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings of this unique farm stay.



A pond with fountain is available to relax by for your enjoyment. please watch your fur babies or small children.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the tiny home and are welcome to stroll up the paddock in the morning—only if there are no cattle present and with prior permission. The only restricted area is the “farm shed area.”



Pre-Order Options (24 Hours' Notice Required):



- E-bikes are available to hire, for $50.00 per E-bike, and $50 deposit, payable directly to land host upon pick-up on-site for you entire stay.

- Firewood is available per stay at $25 for 5 kgs (Kindling/lighter/matchers are provided)

- Marshmallows provided with every firewood order

- Breakfast Hampers is available for an extra cost of $40.00 per person. The breakfast menu consists of: Fresh local bread/croissants, jam, cheese from the local Cheese Factory here in Milawa. Local bacon, sausage, home made relish, local eggs, hash brown, home grown avocado, Granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, berries. Freshly squeezed home grown orange juice & Espresso pod coffee.

Tea Garden Creek Farm Retreat 2 by Tiny Away lies in scenic Northeast Victoria, bordered by water from the Ovens River. Our farm stay is just a short drive from Wangaratta and Beechworth, and just 2.5 hours from Melbourne, it’s an ideal spot to unwind in nature.



While staying here, explore the region’s top highlights: Brown Brothers Winery in King Valley, the fresh Mediterranean menu at King River Café in Milawa, the stunning Woolshed Falls, the historic Ned Kelly Museum, and the scenic Mount Buffalo National Park.



Getting Around:

By car:



- From Melbourne, it's a 2.5hrs drive.

- From Sydney, it’s a 6.5 hrs drive

- The nearest towns are Milawa (5 minutes), Everton (5 minutes), Beechworth (20 minutes), and Bright (40 minutes).

- Reachable by both 2WD and 4WD.



By public transport:



- Train and bus to Wangaratta train station.

- Taxi service in Wangaratta.



Other Things to Note:

- Wifi is available



- Recycling bottles and cans bins are provided

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Please clean up after yourself before checking out

- Expect limited connectivity as we are in rural locality

- No Gas BBQ Grill and outdoor firepit during a total fire ban

- We have designated smoking areas, please use the ashtray provided

- Mobile reception is good for Optus and Telstra, while the rest are poor

- We would like to advise guests that later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Maximum of two pets (cats or dogs) is allowed with 24 hours’ prior notice. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. The full pet policy will be provided before arrival.



Farm guidelines



- We have livestock and ask that you keep a safe distance. Please do not feed the animals or enter paddocks or yards without the host’s permission.

- A pond with a fountain is available for you to relax and enjoy. Please ensure that small children and pets are supervised at all times.



Important note:



- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
