The property was sufficient. The beds were ok but the room was very large with 2 Queen beds. The star though is the staff, always a smile, very polite and super accommodating. If we ever go back to Christmas, mi I would definitely stay at the White Pine Lodge.

Casino nearby if that's your interest (walkable), restaurant across the street (Foggies) very good, historical park across the road as well that will take you to Lake Superior (Bay Furnace), drivable. It's a good spot to lay your head.

We arrived early, which is definitely a request, but the lady that was initially at the desk was a bit abrupt with us. They were gracious and allowed us to leave items in a cooler until we returned. The person that checked us in at that time was welcoming. I certainly understand everyone can have a bad day, this person was really asking a bad day.
