FRAUDULENT!!!! PLEASE DON’T BOOK THIS PROPERTY. THIS IS A FRAUDULENT LISTING ON EXPEDIA AND VRBO. I booked this property for 10persons. I didn’t get check-in instructions. I kept trying to contact the host. I sent emails, no response. The number listed on Expedia for the host is a 33 non-moroccan number. I only got voicemails. I kept leaving voicemails. No response. On May 30, I tried to contact the host via WhatsApp, I left messages and calls. It was ringing for a while till the person blocked me. On May 30, I arrived Marrakech with my family. It was a struggle to locate the place without contact from the host. Finally, I found the place after walking in the heat for 30mins using the address on expedia. The man I met at the property said he was not expecting me. He showed me his scheduling calendar and I was not in it. He said he wasn’t aware of any booking on Expedia and his property was completely booked at that time. I informed him we were stranded and he said he had a friend with an available Riad and we should pay him 12,000 Dirhams in cash for it. He kept asking me how much I paid Expedia!!!!! I called Vrbo and Expedia agents on May 30 and was assured of a refund. I called again June 3rd to check the status and I am hearing they need to contact the host for a refund!!!!!! Talking about proof that the host did not accept my family and I. Meanwhile I was on the phone with Expedia and Vrbo agents while talking with the man at the property. I am really frustrated!!
