Trip to Marrakesh with friends

Loved this riad! First time in Marrakesh so no idea what to expect. The location was great - a quiet neighbourhood but full of character and not too far to walk into the mayhem of the central medina. The rooms were all gorgeous and the rooftop a peaceful oasis - we enjoyed the hot tub too. Mostapha was an absolute gentleman and couldn't be more helpful. Zakia made a delicious breakfast and it was great to be looked after like this. I would highly recommend this riad, and may well return one day!

"We are a family of 6, parents and 4 grown up children, who stayed for 10 days at Dar Essattatia at the end of august-beginning of september 2010. The house offered everything the website promised. The riad is conveniently situated in the heart of the medina. So you can get a close look at everyday life in Marrakesh. We explored the old city and made 1 excursion to the Ourika Valley, which was really nice and a bit cooler than Marrakesh (thanks to the information the owner sent us after signing up).Mustapha organised the driver and possible places of interest. Khadija is a wonderful cook. We really appreciated her Moroccan dishes and breakfasts. All the more so when you know that we stayed there at the time of the Ramadan. We certainly would recommend this house to our friends. Greetings from the Luxembourg party."
