Everything was good, ambience, cleanliness, breakfast except the hot water facility. You have to ask the staff that you need hot water everytime if you are going to use it in the bathroom and they will turn the boiler machine on for you which is very much annoying.
I am so grateful to have stayed here. Everybody, the front desks agents, the housekeepers, the cooks, and the spa were phenomenal. I highly recommend this Riad. I will definitely come back to the same Riad. Thank you everybody for your hospitality! You guys are amazing!
I want to start by saying the staff was extremely welcoming , helpful and funny. We got lost at night while at the market and could not find our way back and one of the staff members found us, picked us up, made us feel safe and brought us back to our hotel free of charge. I want to give a special thank you to him. @yadane84 I also want to thank the ladies who performed the Hamman and massage. Very comforting, relaxing and peaceful. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
Loved the staff at this hotel, they made my whole trip. Only complain is rooms are not sound proof so lots of noise, other than that there was no problems. Will come back
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to and was very disappointed on my arrival. Everything about the hotel was less than a one star. The walls had cracks, the heating and the toilet sink tap wasn’t working properly and was rusty. The tiles in the bathroom were also broken. The alleyway that takes us to the hotel smelt of urine and poo. I am surprised that Expedia even has such a disgraceful hotel and would suggest it being taken down, especially as this experience made my mum poorly!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
First of all, we could not find the place because it has four different names. It was very confusing and when we arrived later than check in time, our room was not ready. The room we were eventually given was awful. You had to walk into the shower in order to open the door to use the toilet. Everything was run down, broken and the walls were stained and dirty. We would never recommend this as a place to stay as there are so many other remarkable Riads in Marrakesh. However, they did prepare a simple breakfast for us because we had to leave early, and we appreciated that.
Inside the RIAD a beautiful sanctuary awaits where staff do their very best to make visitors comfortable and knowledgeable in order to make the most of their stay in Marrakesh. However, first impressions of the area are quite a shock because the RIAD is situated in quite a dark, narrow alley not far from the chaos of the Medina. But for visitors like me who want to experience the real Marrakesh I think this property has the right contrast between outside and inside. In January, breakfast outside was a little chilly but the warmth of the staff more than made up for it. This RIAD has a great team of people who clearly enjoy working together and who genuinely take a personal interest in their visitors and value tourism in general. The RIAD is decorated in authentic Moroccan style. An atmosphere of tranquility, relaxation and calm inside prepares the visitor for the startling sensations, sounds and smells that await outside. Be prepared to experience the real Marrakesh!
It was very disappointing! The beds were horrible—extremely noisy and uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping without pillows because they were so hard and tall. The bathroom was also a problem, as it stayed damp and humid for hours after a shower, making the entire room feel unpleasant.
We understand that staying in a riad means you’ll hear some noise, but having to endure a couple being intimate for several nights in a row was too much. Additionally, while music is expected, it would have been nice if it stopped by 9 PM instead of dragging on later into the evening.
To make things worse, the picture of the terrace on Hotels.com was misleading and did not reflect the reality.
All in all, the experience was far from relaxing.
Truly terrible property. What they show you in the photographs is not what you get. Our room was dirty; nowhere to hang our clothes; no cupboard with doors; no headboard for the bed; the electrical socket didn’t work; the toilet seat was broken - kept falling on you as you use it. There was about 8 inches of space on
Each side of the bed - I almost fell over a couple of times. I have pictorial evidence.
The approach is through darky dinghy alleyways- scary if you happen to be on
Your own. Never never book a Riyad!!
The service was acceptable. We had booked for 4 nights but left after one awful night. We asked for our money back for 3 nights but the hotel didn’t have the decency to do that. Expedia say the they didn’t respond to their requests.
Terrible, awful, borderline disgusting!! Expedia’ response to a regular customer has been to
Wash its hand of the whole episode. Deeply disappointing!!
