The APPARTAMENTO LO STAGNONE will make your stay in western Sicily unforgettable, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the magical atmosphere of the Stagnone Lagoon. This two-level accommodation, recently renovated, is located north of Marsala in a quiet and charming area, just a short distance from the salt flats and the nature reserve.
The living area opens onto a cozy open space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and a single sofa bed—perfect for hosting an additional guest (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared, we think it is proper to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the closet/shelf most adjacent to the sofa). A visible wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where you’ll find a spacious attic room with a double bed and a single bed, along with bedside tables with lamps and a mirror. The minimal decor in shades of grey, combined with the exposed wooden beams, creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere—ideal for recharging after a day spent between sea and nature. The bathroom is modern and functional, equipped with a comfortable shower, while the washing machine is located in a separate space for added convenience and to optimize room layout.
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.
We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.
The apartment has a private parking space in the shared condominium area.

Just a five-minute drive away are the Stagnone Nature Reserve and the Salt Pans—unique places where you can embark on a journey to discover the lagoon’s islands, including the fascinating Island of Mothia, an ancient Phoenician colony. Marsala’s historic center can be reached in about ten minutes by car: here, among cobblestone alleys and sunlit squares, you can visit the majestic Church of San Tommaso di Canterbury, the elegant Porta Nuova and Porta Garibaldi, as well as the renowned Baglio Anselmi Archaeological Museum, home to the famous late-Roman shipwreck of Marausa. The area is full of typical restaurants, wine bars, and venues where you can enjoy the intense flavors of Sicilian cuisine and taste the renowned Marsala wine, a symbol of the region’s winemaking tradition.
