The host was uncontactable via text/email/phone call for the entire day.
On arrival we found the apartment had no been cleaned from the previous occupant. When we eventually got in contact it took over an hour to be attended and cleaned and the host was aggressive and accused of us lying when we complained about the issues with the accommodation.
Other than being unclean, the apartment is incredibly small and not accurately reflected in the photos. The air-conditioning is a plugged in unit with the ventilation pipe held up against a window which cannot be opened fully even if you wanted to - meaning the hot air is blown into the window pane and back into the room, leaving the room uncomfortably hot.
The instructions are only in French. The host is rude, unpleasant, only speaks french, and difficult to get in contact with. The key gets stuck in the door if you don't angle it just right. The pillows provided are paper thin and somehow also lumpy. If you have luggage you will struggle to find somewhere to put it, the "apartment" is so small.
