Great location, very stylish apartment with excellent air conditioning

The apartment is an oasis of stylish tranquillity yet very close to the hustle and bustle of the old port. The AC is powerful and makes the place wonderfully cool to return to on a hot day. The lift is quite antique but works well enough. Very nearby - 2 minutes walk - is an excellent square with lots of different restaurants and bars and ideal if people-watching is your thing. The Metro is about 5 minutes walk away and a couple of stops from the St Charles train station. Boat trips to Les Calanques are also available about 10 minutes walk away. There are two mini-markets within 5 minutes and a boulangerie about 2 minutes away. We had a couple of small issues with some kitchen devices but nothing much. When we first looked at the listing, there was a photo of a glass of wine on a table overlooking the port which we assumed was taken from the apartment but it can't have been because it is a couple of blocks back from the harbour. Nonetheless, if we return to Marseille it is very likely we would try to stay here again. It felt safe and secure and with the double-glazed windows shut and the AC on there was very little noise. It's also in a really good location. Thank you Eva.

Wonderful apartment

This form asks to rate the "Accuracy of online listing." I gave it 5 stars, but that's inadequate: the apartment and check-in process was better than the online listing. We loved this apartment: its location--very near the downtown port, yet on a quiet street; that it is on the building's top floor, which allows a great view across the city; and the high quality of the spacious apartment. Even better was Eva's warm welcome and thorough explanation of the apartment. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have a microwave in the kitchen area. That aside, this apartment made our holiday in Marseille even better. Thank you, Eva!

Big, beautiful, quiet apartment in the heart of Marseille!

Eva 's apartment is spacious, modern, clean and quiet, and has an amazing view of Marseille. It is also in the heart of the city, which we know well, since my husband is from Marseille. It's close to many supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, shops, restaurants, and the old port. The bed was comfortable too, which is not always the case in airbnb apartments! In addition, Eva was available when we needed to contact her. We had a great stay, and would stay in her apartment again.

Ruhige und geschmackvolle Wohnung in bester Lage

Sehr schöne Wohnung in bester Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Bäcker und kleiner Supermarkt in nächster Nähe. Schöne Restaurants und kleine Lokale direkt vor der Tür. Dennoch sehr ruhig. Klimaanlage vorhanden. Küche gut ausgestattet. Sehr nette Vermietrin.
