The Loft On The Square

The Loft is located downtown overlooking Mason’s historic town square. The stone building was constructed in the 1880’s and the loft upstairs was fully renovated in 2021.

With 12’ ceilings and over 1,850 square feet of living space, The Loft is about 6x the size of an average hotel room.

The Loft is made to enjoy.Treat yourself with a spa experience in the steam shower. Sit back for a movie night on the 112” cinema screen. Enjoy The Loft’s vinyl record collection. Stop and go while touring the many tasting rooms, breweries, bars and shops surrounding The Loft’s location.

The Loft’s sleeping area includes two plush queen size beds, one foldout sofa, two lounge chairs with a table, and a flat screen television. Plus, an unparalleled view of Mason’s picturesque town square.

Coffee is included with your stay, as well as an option for wine upon request.

The Loft guests enjoy access of a private stairwell directly on the town square. The stairwell is original to the building, and as such, please be aware that it may be slightly steeper than many modern stairs. While this is not an issue for most guests, we recommend making other accommodations if you have mobility concerns.

Hidden Gem

Fantastic find

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gem. Brett was very responsive and communicative and the loft fit our family of 4 perfectly. Lots of space, clean, appointed nicely and beds were comfy. The shower is out of this world and the kids loved the projector for nightly movies. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Loveliest place!

Amazing spot in Mason

Brett's place was like a home away from home and had everything you need. Pictures don't do this place justice and highly recommend it. I had to change the date of my stay and Brett was very accomodating.

The Loft was stunning and spacious. We wished we booked a few more days to stay! It was clean and comfortable and oh my word the shower steamer was much appreciated! The bed was so comfy! I will be planning another stay here for sure!

This loft is amazing! There are stairs but consider that exercise. Plenty of room in this beautiful loft. Brett was quick to respond and most helpful. Don't miss out staying here. Looking forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and the location. We ordered apps from the bar below and they brought it up to the loft. The host and his wife are so nice and made us feel right at home! We certainly will be back the next time we come into town.

Spacious Luxury and Comfort

Our 3 adult sons stayed here during our visit for a family wedding. The space exceeded expectations. Lots of room to spread out and be comfortable. It would be excellent for entertaining. The host responded very quickly to messages. Highly recommend this property.

Stay in downtown Mason Texas

Loved our stay at the Loft. It was nice and spacious. The Loft is open concept with sleeping areas open to each other, extending into the living/kitchen area. The small ice maker in the kitchen was constantly making ice so we did have to shut it off while we slept. Bathroom is nice and spacious as well. Stairs leading up to the loft are rustic but not too strenuous. 22 steps to the top! The Loft on the Square does have a little noise from the downtown traffic but thankfully Mason is a small town! Loved the location and the ability to walk around the neighborhood to see the older houses in town. Brett, our host, checked in on us to make sure our stay was perfect. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Our favorite small town getaway

This was our second time staying here, and it was a 5-star experience again. We love how open and spacious this loft is. Everything is very comfortable, stylish, and clean. The location is perfect - you're right in on the main square, and close to everything. We hope to make it back soon!

Great as usual!

This was my second stay at the Loft; this stay was great as was the first stay. The Loft is super clean and contains everything for a nice stay. Great bathroom, lots of room, confortable beds. Brett is a super host and communicates quickly and fully. Lots of extras in the Loft; very enjoyable. I couldn't have asked for more!

Super Swanky Stay

This was such a fun stay! We were in town for a wedding and happened to catch their local wine and art festival. This place was suuuper close to the venue and the square. I was concerned booking a studio that we would be cramped but this place was HUGE. There is not a full sized kitchen and there is no freezer available but there is a super cool ice maker. Just if you bring frozen food, you are out of luck. This house had many appliances to function as close to a full size kitchen as possible. The bathroom of this place is AMAZING. Theres a huge waterfall shower that's also a sauna, a huge counter to get ready at and a lovely window covered in vines with birds in it. There was a record player and lots of music, and a projector screen the size of a wall. If I ever come back to Mason this will 100% be where I'm staying.
