Perched up high on the hillside of Torca overlooking the Mediterranean, Domus Smeraldo is a quaint and light filled apartment with a mix of modern and retro décor. Accommodating up to 5 people, this spacious 2 bedroom apartment, with balcony and patio set amongst the olive groves provides maximum comfort with ample internal and external living space to enjoy year round.

The highlights of the apartment are of course the spectacular views of the Galli Islands and Positano, together with its green outlook and secluded feel. The spacious terrace provides a perfect option for outdoor dining or lazing in the sun while you gaze out on to the sparkling blue waters of the Amalfi and Cilento Coasts.

The main entrance of the apartments opens onto a corridor with access to the bathroom and the twin bedroom, then you have access in a spacious open space with a fully equipped kitchen and a living area.This space is tastefully furnished with with wooden table and chairs seating six,a comfortable sofa bed and a satellite Tv . The furbished kitchen offers everything you will need including a 4 burner gas stove, oven/grill, fridge, toaster, coffe machine, crockery, dishes and glasses. You will all the comfort to feel like in your kitchen!

There is Wifi internet connection throughout the apartment.

The main bedroom is simply and comfortably furnished. The oversized master bedroom opens out onto the window . The second bedroom has 2 single beds and enjoys views of Li galli Islands in the distance.

The bathroom is simple but very practice and comfortable, with enclosed shower, wash basin, toilet, bidet , hairdryer .The bathroom serves as a wash room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

As Domus Smeraldo faces south, the balcony enjoys sunshine throughout the day. It is equipped with a large table, chairs and deckchair, and is the perfect spot to relax. On hot days, there are plenty of shady areas within the grounds of the front garden.

Although it is possible to reach Domus Smeraldo via public transport, a car is recommended for your stay. The apartment has a private parking for one small/medium car. For ease of entry into the property, and for those not used to manoeuvring in small spaces, we recommend the use of a small medium sized car. If you drive a larger vehicle, please contact us to discuss access.

Domus Smeraldo is an ideal base for visiting the olive groves and orange trees of the Punta Campanella National Park, a marine protected area, Marina del Cantone beach and is only a stone throw away from the quaint village of Sant Agata. Sorrento is just 10 kilometres away, while a little further afield you can visit Pompeii, Capri, Ercolano, and the enchanting Amalfi Coast.

CLEANING PROTOCOL We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID 19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. Our housekeeping team uses cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including: cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean the entire property after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high touch items. All bed linen and toweling will be washed with a minimum temperature of 60 degrees using disinfectant laundry agents. _ _ _ LOCAL TAX From 1 April to 31 October the Municipal Council of Massa Lubrense has instituted a mandatory tourist tax on all temporary residents that must be paid in cash on arrival. Public buses operate from the main square, Piazza San Tommaso Apostolo, via Sant Agata to Massa Lubrense, Sorrento, Marina del Cantone beach. Not all services are direct and you may need to change at Sant Agata for another bus to your destination. The bus stop is located outside the main church in the square and is indicated with a sign written FERMATE SITA. If you love nature and hiking, then you will love this trail which leaves from the main square in Torca. Crapolla Cove is one of the most beautiful sites along the coast of Massa Lubrense: in addition to being of natural interest, it still retains visible traces of the past. This great hike will take you to the Fiordo di Crapolla and its beach. It is a medium to difficult level hike as you will need to descend (and ascend) some 700 steps. The walk down takes approx. 30 45minutes, while the return will take at least 1.5hours.
