Also the large, partly covered terrace, is a nice place to enjoy your meals or relax in the sun.

Take a break at the lookout tower "Rennsteigewarte", which offers a magnificent view in all directions. Also a barefoot path is an experience to feel sensations on the different undergrounds. In summer you can swim at the Goldisthal lake and fish at the Goldisthal-Oberes Schwarzatal reservoir. In winter the region invites you to winter sports. A ski lift will take you up to the Masserberg, from where you can whiz down. Also the nearby ski arena Heubach offers you a lot of fun in the snow.
