This charming chalet with deck overlooks it's own private lake which can be used by guests for relaxation or fishing, and is set in a beautiful wooded area with use of a private outdoor pool during summer months. There is a spa hot tub on site open all year. Chill out in the relaxing hamlet of Poumeroux or explore the Charente countryside and all it offers.
Nearby, are the Lacs de Haute Charente, where you can swim in the man made lakes and relax on the beach or participate in the water sports on offer. We are only a few miles from two 18 hole Golf Courses. There is go-karting, horse riding, cycling and birdwatching all within easy reach. If you want to take things more slowly, there are chateaux nearby, Roman Baths, the famous village of Oradour Sur Glane, a fabulous weekly market at Piegut, the picturesque village of Brantome and the fabulous Cognac houses all a short drive away.
We are a few minutes drive from Massignac village where there is a bar/restaurant, tourist board office, small general grocer, a boulangerie for fresh bread, a chemist, doctors surgery and a lovely artisan gift shop and tea room.
