In the living area there is a multi-fuel burner which makes it the perfect place to curl up in front of with a book. Sitting alongside is the kitchen area which is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and dine during your stay. Upstairs is a large double room and bathroom perfect for two. Outside of the cottage there is a courtyard with a seating area so you can make the most of this lovely location and views and eat al fresco when the weather is nice.

Situated in a perfect position to enjoy all the Peak District National Park has to offer. The charming and traditional conservation village of Bonsall is situated in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, the former lead mining and textile producing village is renowned for the World Hen Racing Championship’s held on the first Saturday in August at the Barley Mow pub. Sitting close to Matlock and Matlock Bath, you will find this is the base for the cable car leading to the Heights of Abraham, a sixty-acre hilltop country park. Walkers and mountain bikers will delight in the magnificent trails that abound in this part of the Peaks This part of Derbyshire has a rich heritage, with nearby Cromford being home to the Arkwright Mills and Crich, playing host to a Tramway Village.

For walkers, the nearby High Peak Trail provides an excellent starting point for a challenging hike through this spectacular part of the world.
