Directly from the property you can enjoy stunning country walks in many different directions, including an ever-popular hike up to the Lumsdale Falls making this the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors. Bring your bikes and enjoy the off-road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels.



Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the River Derwent; visit popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips, and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky. A little further afield Bakewell and Chatsworth House, provide a wonderful day out exploring the local businesses that line the streets. The location and property really is second to none and the perfect place for a perfect break at anytime of the year.
