MY ROOM WAS SMALL, BUT IT WAD OK FOR ONE NIGHT IN MATSUMOTO. EVERYTHING WAS MAINTAINED WELL BUT NEEDS UPDATE. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. BREAKFAST WAS MEDIOCRE BUT WE PAID VERY LOW RATE SO COULD NOT EXPECT GOURME FOOD. WE RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL.

no AC open window, dirty, old, light at dresser made the entire room warm and unbearable. I complained to front desk and someone came in telling us opening windows. We stayed on 2nd floor facing street and it was noisy. Whenever we put the room card in, the light generated extra heat inside the room and we had to constantly remove the card to cool down the room. We had a restless night there.

Convenient for public transport and the castle was within walking distance. Unfortunately i was given a smoking room which stank like an old ashtray. The room was heavily nicotine stained and even after using freshner it still smelt.the Free breakfast was limited in choice and not topped up, so first in best selection. The staff are friendly and helpful and i will stay here again but i will specify a non smking room.

The location is excellent, just right next to main station for both bus and train. Many restaurants nearby. Overall is worthwhile the price. Highly recommended.

Great value stay

Our 1 night stop whilst passing through Matsumoto was best described as great value. Perfectly located next to train and bus stations, rooms relatively spacious and beds were comfy. Free breakfast included was also great

Very nice, but a bit noisy

Hotel is very well located, near the JR line and Bus station. The breakfast which came with the room was most welcome. The room was fine, well-appointed, and up to date. However, the walls are thin, and noises from other rooms are obtrusive.
