Detached house with private parking on site. From the outside, 4 steps lead to the house, which is, inside, on one level. This accommodation offers a fully equipped independent kitchen. The living / dining room opens onto a suspended terrace with views of the garden and the Dordogne River. You will have 3 bedrooms each with a 140x190 bed. A shower room. A separate toilet. The garden is located at the back of the house. You will find garden furniture in the shade under the tree, as well as a barbecue. Little extra: at the bottom of the garden, a small gate gives you direct access to the greenway along the river. In the basement you will have access to a ping-pong table, and the washing machine. House on the banks of the Dordogne River, in the small, quiet village of Mauzac-et-Grand-Castang, behind the church bell tower, ideally located in the heart of the Périgord region for exploring the tourist attractions of the Dordogne and Vézère valleys (castles, fortified towns, caves, museums, vineyards, prehistoric sites, etc.). Water activities on the Dordogne include fishing, windsurfing, water sports, swimming, canoeing, and barge rides. Discover the Périgord gastronomy. A very pleasant market is held in Lalinde every Thursday (5 km).
You can enjoy the "VELOROUTE V91" greenway, which runs from Prigonrieux to Mauzac, a distance of approximately 40 km. And, for the more athletic, take advantage of the ferry in Mauzac, which allows you to cross the Dordogne to continue your journey. For hiking enthusiasts, the GR 6 hiking trail passes in front of the cottage's courtyard, arriving from Lalinde via Trémolat.
