A unique cabin with boating decor, this chalet-style cabin combines warmth and comfort with unmatched views of Great Sacandaga Lake. No matter the season the lake and surrounding forests provides a wonderful backdrop for any event; a weekend getaway, a fishing trip, friend’s reunion. Sunrise over the lake with a good cup of coffee is the thing of memories. Bring your boat and launch it next door. Seasonal kayak, canoe, standup paddle board and swimming… it's lake life!

This is a 2+ acre lakefront property with a main cabin (The Family Camp) and two 2 bedroom/1 bath cabins known as The Boathouse (this listing) and The Woodland, available to rent and listed separately.
There is a lovely lawn and lakefront to spread out on. There are two separate Solo Stove campfire seating areas with ample seating at the lake’s edge. Firewood and kindling are provided.

Property amenities are reserved for guests at The Family Cabin, The Boathouse and The Woodland. There is no public access to the property or the lakefront.

Either myself or a designated representative will be available 24/7 to address any needs that may arise. We will not greet you (unless you tell us you want us to) and we will not infringe upon your privacy at any time.

Liability Waiver:
Guests understand that swimming, use of the swimming platform, hiking, fishing, ice-fishing, ice-skating, boating, use of kayaks and canoes, use of the fire-pit, and all recreational activities on the property are at your own risk and that special risks may be involved. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from such activities and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers from such activities that may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person participating in such activities if a person has health risks, or if person participates in such activities while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from these activities. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.

A penalty of $250 will be charged if smoking in the house is detected after a stay.
At check out trash should be moved to outside bin. Recycling should be placed in blue pail.
Dirty dishes should be put into dishwasher.
Towels can be left in bathtub/shower.
Remove any food scraps from BBQ grill grates to discourage critters from visiting.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Mayfield cabin is smoke free.
