Tired family in Mazatlan

The location is great for getting around Mazatlan. Its also right across from the beach. The security in the building is a plus. The pool is really small and a bit run down, we only used it once. The apartment itself was big and the a/c was great. Floors were really dirty like they had not been thoroughly cleaned. We appeciated the bottled water and beer in the fridge. When we arrived we noticed that we only had 4 shower towels 2 hand towels, one wash cloth and 2 beach/pool towels. When we messaged the hosts about getting more towels they seemed confused. They knew we were a family of 4 (with 2 adult size teens) The hosts seemed inconvenienced by us asking for more towels and wash cloths. Also they denied us wash cloths, using hygene as an excuse. The biggest disappointment was the washer and dryer. We were in Mexico City for 4 days before Mazatlan and were expecting to be able to wash clothes for the rest of the trip. Its a wash/dryer in one. We figured out how to run the wash and eventually the dryer but soon realized the clothes were not getting dry. When we messaged the hosts they said it is not working and could not get in touch with a technician. Then told us the clothes take 6hours to dry. Eventually we had to hang our clothes on hangers on the balcony to dry and they smelled awful. We mostly enjoyed our time but there were many inconveniences we did not appreciate having to deal with on vacation, so we would not recommend this loction.
