Welcome to The Madison — our 3-level Hocking Hills chalet, thoughtfully sized for groups of up to 6. Whether you're a small family, two couples, or a close-knit friend group, this is the place to slow down together.

★ THE SPACE ★

Two queen master suites anchor the cabin, each with its own full en suite bath. A full-size bed tucked into the loft adds a bit of treehouse charm — perfect for the kids, or a third couple. Sleeps 6 comfortably.

Downstairs, you'll find theater-style seating around a 60" smart TV — the perfect spot for a rainy-afternoon movie marathon or catching the game. We splurged on YouTube TV with NFL Sunday Ticket, plus Hulu and Disney+, and there's a Roku in each bedroom. Fast Starlink WiFi keeps things flowing even out here in the woods.

The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking — stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, blender, wine glasses, and all the basics. The dining table seats 6 for slow family dinners.

★ THE OUTDOORS (where the magic lives) ★

Step outside to a 6-person covered hot tub, a 32-ft wraparound porch made for morning coffee, a fire pit waiting for s'mores, a BBQ grill, hammock, sun loungers, and 2.7 secluded acres of Hocking Hills woods to call your own. Inside, the cozy gas fireplace makes winter evenings feel like home.

★ THE LOCATION ★

The Madison sits on a quiet, secluded road in South Bloomingville, in the heart of Hocking Hills — Ohio's go-to for waterfalls, sandstone caves, and old-growth forest hikes.

You're 12-15 minutes from the iconic hikes:

- Old Man's Cave

- Ash Cave (Ohio's largest recess cave, stroller-friendly)

- Conkle's Hollow (towering cliff walls)

- Cedar Falls

- Hocking Hills State Park

Le Petit Chevalier Vineyard is a 7-minute drive — perfect for an afternoon glass on the patio. Logan, about 20 minutes out, has restaurants, breweries, and supplies. For more adventure, you've got zip-lining, horseback trail riding, rock climbing, and the Hocking Hills Canopy Tours all close by.

Columbus is about an hour drive; Athens and Ohio University around 45 minutes.

Every season has its moment — spring waterfalls, summer stargazing, legendary fall foliage (book early!), and frozen waterfalls in winter.

★ HOW WE HOST ★

We're here for you, but not on top of you — that's the balance we try to strike. You probably won't see us, but if you need anything (a hike rec, a question about the hot tub, an extra pillow), we're a message or text away and usually reply within minutes. We've also got trusted local helpers who can be on-site fast if anything needs hands-on attention.

Self check-in at 4 PM keeps arrival simple. Easy 11 AM checkout, no rush.

★ HONEST NOTES (so nothing's a surprise) ★

The trade-offs of country living: we're on well water (some guests bring bottled water for drinking), cell service can be hit-or-miss but our Starlink WiFi is fast and reliable for WiFi calling, and 4WD is a smart call in winter weather (we plow when accumulation tops 2"). The cabin has 3 levels with stairs between them.

★ HOUSE RULES ★

- No pets — we love animals, but the cabin is pet-free

- No smoking or vaping anywhere on property

- No parties or events

- Booking guest is responsible for the group and any damages
