Unique style inside and outside, this quaint converted railcar getaway offers a chance to slow down and get away from it all. Nestled in the heart of nature, this enchanting property offers a serene escape for guests. With 2 sleeping areas, including a double bed and 2 twin beds, it's the perfect retreat for a small group or family. There are no "bedrooms" as the sleeping areas do not have doors but are in the historic railcar. Immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings and unwind in the phenomenal ambiance. The Railcar offers a one of kind stay but it is a rail car, so the hallways are narrow. It features modern amenities such as heating, Wi-Fi, AC, and a washing machine, ensuring a comfortable stay. Indulge in the refreshing shower in one of the 2 bathrooms. Kickback, relax, and enjoy tubing or canoeing the nearby Bogue Chitto River. Canoes, kayaks, and tube rentals are located less than 5 miles from the property and the vendors offer multiple options float options.

The private pool is fed by a deep well which makes the water particularly refreshing even in the hottest of months. The outdoor area has ample seating for meals. Amazing!! First off, the communication through out our planning, booking and arrival was top tier. This property had everything that a typical home would have and then some. Check in was seamless with a key code to enter the property. Nestled away in a quiet corner, we were all quite charmed by this gem of a place.

Relaxing time in the woods

We had a great time at the railcar retreat. The pictures don't do justice to how nice the property is. It is very quiet and was a great getaway for my family. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Fantastic experience

This is no way to adequately explain how special this place is. It was a perfect location to get away from work and school to fish, play games and just spend time together. Very clean and the host was super easy to communicate with. Close to both McComb and Tylertown to run grab whatever you might need. We cannot wait to come back next summer to enjoy the pool and maybe float the Bogue Chitto.
