A disgruntled hotel manager

When I went to checking the manager told me that I do not have the reservation. I showed him on my cell phone document you sent me but he replied that his records do not show any reservation. He indicated that he never heard of hotels.com and advised me to use different means of preserving any hotels in the future. Fortunately I had a hard copy printout of your document and I showed it to the manager. He indicated that as long as there is no booking number these papers on invalid I showed him the itinerary number enclosed with your document and he indicated that this is only good for hotels.com Does not mean much to him. He was completely insistent that there was no reservation for me. After a lot of arguments he conceded that there is a reservation under my name but he has no way of knowing that I am not another person with the same name. I indicated that it is very unlikely that another person with my exact name and exact length of stay has made a reservation in the hotel. He finally agreed to give me a room. The stay in the hospital was not very convenient the weight by the elevator was a minimal of 15 minutes and usually extremely crowded and packed with no good organization. The quality of the food is at best mediocre. Definitely would not recommend this hotel for anybody. I am not sure whether the problem in my reservation was from hotel start: All from a clearly very disgruntled hotel manager.

Great Stay!

Another amazing stay in Makkah Towers in Tower 2! Had to ask housekeeping staff to accommodate necessities for 4 people, as were only providing for 2 people despite a reservation for 4 people. Lift services need to improved as had long waits for a lift. Breakfast variety could be improved but other than that it was a lovely stay! Very close to the Haram

Worst experience I’ve ever had. From starting check in with the most unprofessional and most rude staff member I’ve ever met to the rooming. They have 6 towers and no matter how you book, they choose to split family and keep everyone a distant away. To get baggage up to the room from bell desk, they have no back elevators and make you wait 3-4 hours to get luggage. No amenities in room upon check in. Rooms poorly lit. Elevator traffic is insane and they only have 2 elevators working per tower which takes 1-2 hours to get up to room. Very inconvenient. Would never recommend anyone to stay with them or experience them.
