Ferienbungalow Willingen-Winterberg

In the vicinity of Winterberg! This partially free-standing bungalow with private garden is peacefully situated on a southern hill. The bungalow, with a magnificent view of Rothaar Mountain, is located on the outskirts of the village of Düdinghausen, in the vicinity of the famous winter sports resorts of Winterberg and Willingen. A feature of this area is the mountainous landscape containing vast forests and beautiful hiking and cycling routes, as well as winding rivers and small quaint villages with half-timbered houses.

A family-friendly ski-lift with a length of 150 meters and a cross-country ski trail are to be found in the location, around 500 meters by foot. Furthermore, there are still a few miles of cleared hiking trails and the opportunity for deep snow hiking with special, borrowed snowshoes.
More ski lifts are located at about 5 -10 km, in Usseln, Willingen and Winterberg or. There are other possibilities, such as ice skating rink or thermal spa with outdoor pool, sauna, etc.

This magnificently situated cottage is one half of a double house. It has a separate entrance and a partially covered terrace facing south. From here you have a wonderful view of the cozy village (with its historic center) and the mountainous surroundings. This ground floor accommodation is suitable for 4 to 6 persons and has central heating. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4-burner electric stove. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower. There are two 2-person bedrooms (+ 1 child's bed) and in the living room there is a sofa bed for two persons. The living room is equipped with a color TV. Pets only after previous agreement!

The village of Düdinghausen lies on the south side of the 'Bald Pon'- the eastern foothills of the 800 meter high Rothaar Mountain. These foothills stretch from the "Bruchhauser Steinen' on the 'low-high heather fields' (with the 'New Hagen' nature reserve) to the 'Pon Kahlen'. It is the separation point between the territories of Winterberg-Medenbach and Willingen. It's southern location means it is a very sunny area. The village offers excellent opportunities for short, local hikes in the immediate vicinity as well as for longer [distance] hikes. Because of the ideal altitude of the village (500-774 m) there are plenty of opportunities for winter sports. Thanks to the cross-country ski trails, loge and ski runs at the local ski resort in the village you can enjoy large and small winter sports facilities. If you don't mind traveling, take a trip to the nearby mountain ski resorts in Willingen where you will also find many Christmas markets and the beautiful Lake Diemel. All of these are very worthwhile. Here you have the following possibilities: tennis, horseback riding, covered wagon rides, (indoor) skating, swimming in a pool, toboggan, golfing, fishing and other sports and recreational facilities. In short: all you need for a pleasant stay in the great Sauerland.
