Avoid at all costs

This place is a scam. First I recieved a very aggresive response from the property when I enquired about the bad reviews (on hotels.com and Google). Instead of any reassurance, the owner said I should cancel the booking because he could earn double the money from renting the room to someone else (as the city was sold out due to a concert). Once we arrived the room was covered in *no child abuse* posters and felt very tainted. They then demanded we paid with cash - even though we had already paid with card at the time of booking. They wanted to refund the money to our card so we could then pay by cash - it all felt very dodgy and potentially money laundering or proceeds of crime. They said the money may not come for 1O days and when we refused to pay they removed us from the room onto the streets of Medellin at 11.30pm with nowhere else to go. This is not somewhere you want to stay and absolutely not the people you want to be dealing with. They are aggresive, unpleasant and I suspect into very murky business. I have complained to hotels.com, so far with no satisfactory or meaningful response. I urge them to remove this place from their site and I urge anyone reading this to never book this place.

Upon arrival I used the bathroom to find it wasn’t any hand soap. I asked the owner if they provided soap he said “why wouldn’t I bring my own soap” and “it’s not the ritz Carlton” very unprofessional. I would not recommend to anyone to rent one of this guys properties.

If you do decide to stay refrain from getting room right by main door on 1st floor. You will hear constant noise throughout the day/night. Walls so thin you can hear the housekeeper in the back while cleaning, you'll hear the water run, people in hallway talking. Upon checkout they do a walk through and check everything I mean even your dry used towels to make sure no stains. My boyfriend ate ice-cream in his bed and they charged us for that, as if they dont wash the linens before the next guest... 2 bedrooms 1 room with supposed to be king mattress was 2 twin beds put together.. what a shame, if property can not afford 1 king bed just leave it as a queen. My boyfriend and I could not even sleep in that bed due to the thick boarding down the middle cause they put 2 mattress side by side to make king.Diana whoever she is did onme in a timely manner to assist us with a few issues. I wish I knew beforehand for 1 week stay that TVs was not a smart TV. Barry off of expedia was who I was able to communicate with gor assistance.

Whole purpose of trip was to use jacuzzi with a group of friends and when we arrived we where told jacuzzi takes 3 hours to warm. Outdoor area had no cushions on couches. It was cold at night.waited 3 hours and jacuzzi didnt warm. Called host to no avail. Woke up early in morning hoping it would be hot but NO. Good thing we didn’t get in jacuzzi at night because we saw alot of white floaties in jacuzzi in the morning that was NASTY looking Floating Babies..... I called host again to complain and he said take my (butt) somewhere else.

Perfect Stay

Amazing place to stay. The location is perfect, right near the best part of Medellin. There's lots of nice restaurants around that are all easy to walk to. The building has free washer dryers which was really handy! Really big room with kitchen, two TV's, two Air Conditioners and a jet spa. Great hotel.

Perfect stay

Absolutely awesome stay here. The rooms are huge with a spa bath, two TV's, and two AC units. Full kitchen if you want to cook (but you don't have to because there's so many restaurants around.). Very fast wifi. Can't say a bad thing about this place. All the staff are very friendly and nice. Will be back and totally recommend.

Very nice apartment

Very nice. Big rooms. Two TV's. Full cable. Very fast and strong wifi. There is a music speaker in the room for you to play music. Nice but other guests can abuse it and play their music too loud. Maybe better for management to remove the sound systems to stop other guests from playing loud music late at night when they get home from nightclubs. Otherwise very peaceful and relaxing stay. Perfect

Big apartment - very safe neighbourhood

Great hotel right in the best part of Medellin. Near to restaurants and a really nice park (with markets on the weekend). The hotel is actually a 1 bedroom apartment so the size is big. Loved my stay.

Way better than a hotel. Your own apartment.

I stayed at Aparta 9 for a week. The location is unbeatable. Located right in the heart of Poblado (the tourist area). The building has 4 floors with generally two apartments per floor. The rooms are very big and the bed comfortable. Excellent water pressure. The kitchens are stocked with everything you'd need. There's also two AC units (in in the living area, one in the bedroom). There's also free washing machines on each floor. A fantastic stay and excellent value for money.

Es muy recomendado

Aunque la fachada no es lo que se espera y que el ascensor no funcionaba, el apartamento es muy cómodo, con buenas instalaciones son limpias con electrodomésticos en excelente estado y prácticamente nuevos. El baño es un poco incomodo pero nada importante. Volvería a quedarme allá
