About this property

Buffalo Spirit - Stardust Inn - Triple Z

Summary:

Enjoy your own entrance from the wrap-around porch with rocking chairs overlooking the water. Perfect for couples seeking a quiet getaway near downtown Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountains.

The Space:

Tucked along the water in the heart of Medicine Park, the Stardust Inn offers a peaceful getaway designed for two. Each private room has its own entrance from the wrap-around porch, where a pair of rocking chairs invites you to slow down and enjoy the view.

Inside, the space is simple, comfortable, and perfect for a couple’s escape.

Stream your favorite shows with the Roku TV, stay connected with Wi-Fi, or step outside and enjoy the quiet charm of the property and the nearby water.

Originally named by the property’s first owners, the Stardust Inn has been part of Medicine Park since 2000. The name and the laid-back spirit of the place remain just as they were meant to be.

Whether you're celebrating something special or simply looking for a quiet weekend away, Stardust Inn is a cozy place to land.

Guest Access:

You will receive a code for the door the morning of your arrival. Rooms are clearly marked with names are on each door. Buffalo Spirit is on the right side of the building.

The Neighborhood:

Located just minutes from downtown Medicine Park, The Stardust Inn offers a quiet retreat while keeping you close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. You're also right next to the entrance of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, perfect for hiking, wildlife spotting, and scenic drives.

Getting Around:

Free on-site parking is available for guests. Downtown Medicine Park is just a 2-minute drive away, and the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge is right next door.

Other Things to Note:

We occasionally get visits from our neighbors’ chickens, a pot-bellied pig named Kevin Bacon, and the family dog. We're new to the neighborhood, and they were here first! Most guests really enjoy their visits (we love that the chickens help keep the bugs away). DO NOT allow pets or children to chase or pester them. If you’d prefer they move along, just ignore them they'll keep moving.

You're also in a natural area, so you might spot deer, raccoons, or the occasional fox nearby. It’s all part of the charm of staying close to nature.

Interaction with Guests:

As your host, I’ll let you enjoy your stay uninterrupted, but I’m totally available if you need anything. Feel free to message me through the booking app.

There are 4 other units on the property. They all have private entrances, but outside amenities are shared.
During your stay at this apartment building, you're just a quick walk from Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. A balcony and a TV are available in the apartment.

Cute and cozy with all the essentials. Very glad it was pet friendly with no restrictions, and affordable, too. Close to all the sights and Fort Sill, without being in a busy area. I will say that I’m very glad we left our German shepherd with the house sitter, since she can be dog reactive, and the animals belonging to the neighbors did come visit my huskies, which was fine, since they are friendly and love other dogs. This wasn’t disclosed before I booked though, so I wasn't aware until I got the check in text. I had tried reaching out to the host a couple times, but didn’t get an answer, but we were only there for one night. But it was wonderful and quiet and I just hope my one crackhead husky wasn’t too obnoxious and annoying. Definitely will book again if we come through this way again.
