Conveniently located near Her Majesty’s Theatre, and only a few minutes walk through China town to the CBD. We booked the penthouse two bedroom, both had kind beds which was perfect for my family. It is really hard to find two bedrooms at a decent price, that is not an apartment. It was a nice central location to cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and mini bar and refreshments were of good variety. The breakfast options were good too, but it is ideal to come down at 7am rather than leave it to peak hour, as you will be waiting. We had no plans though, so we were happy to wait. It could have also been due to being Easter holidays most were wanting to eat in. Overall, a nice stay.

Ideal location, well equipped and quiet rooms, stylish decor, and great value. All the staff we interacted with were extremely welcoming and friendly, and offered very helpful recommendations. Evening happy hour was a nice touch too! Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Melbourne.

Earlier in our trip, we stayed at another hotel on the same street - If only we had stayed here first! The beds were so comfy, especially the pillows and linens. Nice shower and bathroom with plenty of room for toiletries. Quiet room, with a nice happy hour each day with free sparkling wine, beer and regular wines. The restaurants on Little Bourke and beyond are excellent, it's a great location, right across from Pearl Diver which also has an amazing happy hour. Up the street is Daughter in Law, which I absolutely loved, and around the corner is Pellegrini, the famous espresso bar. Two blocks away is class rock bar Cherry. And of course, there are a zillion Asian restaurants in the immediate area. Don't bother looking anywhere else, this is the place!

We loved our stay at the Lancemore. The location is terrific, a short walk from Melbourne's 2 main theatres, Chinatown, many great restaurants and shopping. I loved the theatrical feel to the lobby, and hosted hour with free drinks between 5 and 6 was an added bonus. Rooms were comfortable and week furnished and staff were brilliant. Great value for money, I'd stay again.

Friendly and funky hotel. Great location, near theatres, restaurants , coffee, shops & Chinatown etc. Couple of things need attention,can’t use your own streaming services & issues with our room key card.. but would stay again!
