This property is showing its age. Just a little care and attention, particularly in public spaces and corridors would present the property much more favourably. During our recent stay packaging was left dumped on the floor at the end of the corridor for three days, room service items were not promptly removed and left the property looking shabby.
The room was excellent and housekeeping did a very good job of servicing our room. However, the aging plumbing left us (and probably those in neighboring rooms) deafened every time we had a shower!
We also found it unhelpful that shift changeover occurred right when a significant number of prebooked guests were arriving to check in. The queue was very long and some waited up to three hours to get access to rooms. The staff blamed attendees at an onsite conference not clearing their rooms by check out time.....This is a management problem not a problem for guests arriving after extended travel.....Management, lift your game.
And finally, I've used this hotel now once a year over the past 6 or 7 years and the coffee machines have never managed to work properly in the breakfast restaurant. Don't you think it's time to throw them out? They are to complicated and unreliable..... Guests pay for decent coffee when they pay for their breakfast.
