The room was fantastic. Great value for money and the breakfast was a wonderful way to depart. There was however a mix up with the booking, I booked for two adults and one child. In my booking I asked for a queen bed and a single. When we went to the room, we discovered it was a twin room. I had paid an additional person fee, which I thought was for the bed. Unfortunately it wasn’t. When I called down to the friendly reception staff I explained the situation. They then offered a trundle bed, which I had to pay a further $50. While I was disappointed with having to pay for the additional bed. It did arrive quickly and the person attending with it was extremely professional. I slept on this trundle and I can confirm it was very comfortable.

We booked the hotel around a week before our stay. Based on brand name and reviews we were expecting a premium experience but the hotel was undergoing a name change. Very basic facilities and average quality. Maybe the new corporate overlords want to cut costs wherever they can and it shows. From missing bin liners to smallest size of minimum toileteries to even restocking tea bags to the number of towels they provide, you constantly feel that they are trying to nickel and dime you. Room could use a fresh coat of paint. Fridge had a rail missing reducing the already small capacity.
