Good but could be better

Nice hotel, a couple of things. 1. Service is slow, check in and out takes way longer than it needs to 2. The lift chime noise is unnecessarily loud and can be heard all night in the lifts 3. Lots of bright little appliance lights in the rooms, need to cover them with things, the aircon box is bright neon light that lights up the room. 4. There is not water in the room, they just give you a cup and expect you to fill it with bathroom tap water The hotel is otherwise very nice, close to lots of great bars, restaurants and cafes

This stay at the standard was incredible. By far the best place I have ever stayed. The service was amazing the hotel itself was beautiful and the food was fantastic. Would stay here every time in Melbourne.
