The Varanda do Outeiro is a place of distant gazes, which extend and land on the mountains of Portugal and Spain!

At the foot of them is the town of Melgaço and its castle, which at the time of the reign of King João I was the scene of the war for the independence of Portugal against Castile, as the legend of Inês Negra tells us,This house has been restored to provide you with every comfort and offers you, on the first floor, a large living room with a fireplace, a bedroom suite with a bathroom with shower, and two bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom with a bathtub. The entire floor is surrounded by a balcony overlooking the village of Melgaço and neighbouring Spain.

On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen will allow this to be the centre of your meals and long conversations, and direct access to the outdoor area with barbecue and garden brings a feeling of freedom and well-being. In this space, you will also find a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. It is equipped to accommodate up to 8 people and has free Wi-Fi.

At the foot of the Varanda do Outeiro lies the lung of the Melgaço Thermal Baths, the Minho River singing its glories, the vineyards of men who labour to refresh their souls with the luminous Alvarinho wine.

Parking note: it is possible to park a light car and SUV inside the property. Due to the narrow access, 7/9 seater vans may not be able to drive up to the house and must be parked on the street.
