This is a hidden gem of a hotel. This is where I stay every time I visit the Memphis area. I always get a good night's rest and the owners are very kind and friendly.

This was a horrible place. They had 2 cars in hat were broke now o pulled up to get he free not door. There were 2 inappropriate dressed women in front of front door. Several people hanging outside the fro t door. It was a horrible experience and it was not a safe place.

In addition to paying for the room with a cc, they took a $50 deposit for the night. They refused to refund the deposit upon chexkout this morning - inly saying it was non-refundable. So the $54 for one night was acutally $104 plus tax. This is a scam. I do NOT rexommend Shelby Inn. When I asked about getting the depsit back, they called security and threatened to call the police. I left. I still don’t understand.
