Staff was rude about an issue that occurred before booking the hotel that was out of my control. Elevator buttons were messed up. Elevator did not look good at all. Paid for snacks and drinks, but the drink machine was out of order.

This beautiful and historic conference hotel is a little hidden gem. It's tucked away off Goodman road on a private drive. Upon entering the front hotel lobby it smells absolutely amazing. My room was quite clean, breakfast was good, and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating especially when using their gym after-hours. My only complaint (which is not with the hotel staff BTW) but with hotel patrons smoking marijuana in the room beside me on the end. [Please don't smoke in hotels especially if they have a non-smoking policy]. The smells through the ventilation system woke me up twice on my three-night visit. But other than that I would stay again if I am in the area without hesitation.
