A stylish newly refurbished apartment right in the heart of Menaggio. The apartment is located in the main Piazza of Menaggio, making it an ideal base to explore all the towns & villages around Lake Como. There is no need for a car as the ferry dock is only 800m away.

From the entrance door, you step directly out onto the Piazza from where you can stroll along the pretty lakeside promenade or relax at a cafe with your cappucino! In the town, you can find a number of delicious Italian restaurants, fresh home made ice cream shops, small boutiques, and a couple of supermarkets. The public \'Lido di Menaggio\' (public swimming pool) with lakeside sandy beach is just five minutes walk from the apartment.

This lovely penthouse apartment is arranged over two floors with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully fitted, perfect for a self-catering holiday stay. In the living area, the entertainment includes a flat screen satellite TV and a stereo CD player. No need to worry about climbing stairs, there is a spacious elevator up to the penthouse!

Lake Como (Lago di Como) is one of the famous Italian Lake destinations, just half an hour from noisy, bustling Milan, in the north of Italy. Lake Como is long (50km), slender and extremely deep. The southern end forks into two long \'legs\', with the picturesque town of Bellagio situated on the promontory between them. Like the other Italian Lakes, Lake Como has been popular as a resort since the days of the Roman Empire. For centuries visitors have admired the blue lake waters and relaxed in luxurious villas in the wooded lakeside slopes above. Great area very close to town center. It was a bit difficult to find; but pictures provided at check-in certainly helped. No air conditioning wouldn't have been an issue; but with the rain, that limited our ability to keep the windows open.Would definitely stay again.

Lovely central location, lake view from main bedroom. As I have mobility issues, the lift to the property was a necessity, being on the 3rd floor. All necessities included, as well as welcome box of essentials eg milk, cereal, tea and coffee etc. Good standard of cleanliness and comfort. All in all, a positive experience!

Lake Como

Upstairs loft is just that - a loft with slanted beams. More suitable for children or shorter adults. Place was very nice, clean and great location. They even provided a bottle of wine and snacks upon our arrival. A very nice touch! Highly recommend this location!

Another great stay

This was our 2nd year staying at La Piazza Menaggio. It was delightful and even better this year. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive as before. The location is perfect right above the square. The apartment is spacious and more than adequately equipped. We hope to return many times in the future.

"AWESOME"

The apartment is awesome. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, Water pressure was great for showers!!! The location is perfect. The parking garage is very convenient. Having an elevator was a bonus. The pictures don't do it justice. I'd go back again tomorrow.

Lake Como getaway

We ended our 10 day vacation in Italy with a relaxing 2 day stay in Menaggio. The apartment is located conveniently in the square with restaurants and shops steps away. We were delighted to find an elevator to our apartment. The apartment is well appointed with all amenities. The welcome gift was a nice touch. There are 3 bedrooms, one on the main floor. The remaining 2 bedrooms and bath is located on the second floor accessed by a narrow winding staircase. We found the apartment to be cozy, clean and conveniently located.

Great Stay in nice apartment

Apartment exceeded expectations. It’s better than the pictures. Upstairs rooms were a little pokey with low head room due to sloping roof and were quite hot. You couldn’t leave skylight windows open at night in case of rain. Otherwise, it was well equipped and we had a really good time there.
