Location

The holiday apartment enjoys a strategic location in Mendrisio, from where guests can access the beautiful Lake Lugano in 10 minutes and the magnificent Lake Como as well as the cosmopolitan city of Lugano in 30 minutes. The town itself is an elegant hub of buildings worth admiring, which have given it the name “Il Borgo Maginifico”, the magnificent town. Mendrisio is also an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy hiking and biking around Valle di Muggio, which is just a 15-minute drive from here, as well as between Monte Generoso and Monte Grigio, leading from some of the gorgeous vineyards of the region.

There are many beautiful parks across the Lugano area, with stunning panoramic views like Parco San Michele and Parco San Grato: both 30 minutes’ drive from here. For excursions, the Hermann Hesse Museum and the prettiest village in Switzerland, Morcote, as well as the SwissMiniatur, are all about 15-25 minutes from here. For day trips, guests can head to the crystal-clear Verzasca Valley, which is just an hour away. The nearest international airport Milan Malpensa is approximately a 50-minute drive. A restaurant, bar and bus stop to connect to other towns on the lake are within 10 minutes’ walking distance.
