Schön aber laut und einfach

Das Haus liegt direkt neben der Strasse, mein Kopfkissen war 5m Luftlinie von der Fahrbahn entfernt. Morgen um 6 Uhr muss man leider die Fenster wegen des Verkehrslärm schließen. Auch der schöne Garten macht wegen des Verkehrslärm nicht so richtig Spass. Im Bad gibt es genau 1 Haken und so gut wie keine Ablage. Es gibt eine Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang, manchmal kam kein warmes Wasser. In der Küche gibt es fast keine Möglichkeit etwas abzustellen. Großes Lob verdienen jedoch die Vermieter, die sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ein großes Gutshaus, in dem die Besitzer wohnen sowie sich drei Fewos befinden. Wir wohnten in Le Cedre. Besitzerin sehr freundlich. Die Begrüßung und Verabschiedung waren freundlich und unaufdringlich. Wir durften netterweise den Rasensprenger zur Abkühlung nutzen, was bei den Temperaturen um die 35 Grad einfach super war. Einrichtung der FeWo etwas "vintage", aber alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Bad (!!!) und die Küche dürften sicherlich mal ein Update erhalten. Küche ist eigentlich zu klein, es fehlt Arbeitsfläche und Abstellmöglichkeiten. Bad echt oll. Bettwäsche muss extra gezahlt werden, aber OK. 😅 Wohnung zur einen Seite mit Blick auf Weinfelder und Olivenhaine, zur anderen auf den malerischen Ort Ménerbes, an einer Durchgangsstraße gelegen. Das war auch schon das größte Manko: Die Schlafzimmer gehen zur Straße und es ist unfassbar laut. Fenster müssen also nachts geschlossen bleiben, was bei der Sommerhitze natürlich sehr ungünstig ist. Denn nur nachts kann gelüftet werden... Wir hatten also eine Woche schlaflose Nächte. Mit kleinen Kindern nur bedingt geeignet durch Treppe, kein Steckdosenschutz. Keine Spielgeräte o.ä.vorhanden. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die typisch provenzalischen Dörfer Ménerbes, Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Abbaye de Senanque etc. bestens geeignet. Avignon ca 45 Min. und total sehenswert! Aix en Provence auch nur 1h entfernt.
