Still in your flat in the city? Take a holiday on the Randen in my beautiful forest house on the Hagen, Canton Schaffhausen. Occupancy: up to 5 people cosy, up to 8 possible. (Beds up to 10, but it gets a bit cramped) Also nice to enjoy the peace and quiet alone or as a couple.

The house is located in a small clearing with various fireplaces and seating all around. View to the south-east with a view of the Säntis, Thurgau Mittelland and eastern Alpine panorama.

Simple, newly renovated kitchen with water from cistern, hand and electric pump, gas instantaneous water heater, gas cooker, basic supplies available.
Cosy lounge with open fireplace. 1 double bed.
Lounge with work and dining tables. 1-2 beds on the ground floor.
Additional 5-8 single beds in the loft.
Toilet (outhouse) in separate shed 5 metres from the house.
Rainwater collected from the roof and filtered in cistern, 3000 litres. Bring your own drinking water (or beer).
Washing area outside. Simple shower installed, with connection to instantaneous water heater.

The house is operated with solar power, 230V converter available. Emergency operation with generator possible.

Schlimme Zustände in schöner Umgebung

Die Lage und die Umgebung sind top. Der Rest leider Flop auf ganz hohem Niveau. Kein Badezimmer, Küche ist 4 m2 gross, alles war dreckig, überall alles voll mit persönlichem Krimskrams und auch alle (!!!) Schränke voll bis obenhin -> keine Verstauungsmöglichkeiten! Kein Kühlschrank, das heisst kein Verstauen von Lebensmitteln möglich. Dazu ist die Wohnung voll mit Ungeziefer, welche sich an unseren Lebensmitteln verköstigt haben. So sind wir frühzeitig abgereist (wirklich nicht heikel, aber solche Umstände sind zu viel). Nach Absprache mit dem Vermieter nach Lösung gesucht, doch gleich abgewürgt worden und Kommunikation verweigert.
