Amazing apartment in Meta

I truly cannot say enough good things about this VRBO. From the host meeting us at the train station, the convenience of the location, the beautiful property, and the amazing balcony, this is by far the best property of ever stayed in.

Wonderful Stay

My friend and I had a wonderful time in Meta. The apartment was a 2 minute walk from the EAV train station - very convenient to travel to Pompeii and Sorento. We loved the beautiful interior, and large balcony. We will stay here again when in the area :-)

Southern Italia in January

Elysia checked me in. She explained many things related to the apartment & the town of Meta & surrounding areas. I had been in the area 2 years prior but there’s always something new to learn. The apartment was charming & very clean plus several amenities plus coffee milk & breakfast breads were supplied & most appreciated! The apartment is in a great location right across from the train station where one can board a train all day long to Naples- Sorrento- & all points in between. The one time I needed the owner she was quick to reply. I highly recommend Sunny Holidays in Meta for your next trip to southern Italy plus it’s a gateway to the fantastic Amalfi Coast!

Beautiful little traditional apartment, everything you need, literally steps from the main line station and bus stop, a very small quiet little town, solace after returning from busy cities etc. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Beach is walkable there and back, we didn’t bother getting buses there but we got a bus to Sorrento.

Great Experience

The owner made the stay easy and stress free. Location was right by train station...easy walk with the kids for all our day excursions. The apartment was a perfect place to relax after our long days out...fully equipped for meals and a nice patio for unwinding with a glass of wine! Host was friendly, welcoming and helpful in ensuring we got settled. Thank you for a great visit.

Great property!

We had a very nice stay in Meta! It is VERY close and convenient to the train station and we used it a lot! We were greeted charmingly by the owner’s father. The unit was very generously stocked with so many nice groceries and treats….the nicest we have ever seen!

Hidden Gem on the Sorrento Peninsula

A tremendous, thank you to Illaria for sharing her beautiful Sunny Holiday house with us. As newcomers to VRBO, we were not sure what to expect and Ilaria got us through the process and was always quick to answer our questions. You will be charmed by this welcoming apartment in Meta -just a few train or bus stops from Sorrento. We also visited Amalfi and took a cooking class nearby. Sunny Holidays had everything we were looking for - a quaint terrace, comfortable amenities, and a very central location. We even found a favorite restaurant in Meta and made it there twice, it was so good. Just ask Ilaria! If people make the place, then you are in great hands, staying with Ilaria in her quintessential Italian apartment.

Location location!

This is an amazing place to stay. Meta is the cutest with a beautiful beach. The location is everything. The train station is right across the street and the bus stop on the corner. There’s a perfect coffee shop up the hill and live music at night. Don’t hesitate to stay here. The terrace with all the beautiful flowers is perfect to sit and have coffee and some wine at night. I will definitely be back to stay here in the future.

Wonderful stay in Meta

I stayed for ten weeks at this property and was very happy there. The unit is very clean and well equipped. Maurizio was very helpful and accommodating. He met me at the train station on my arrival and even though I don’t speak Italian we had no problems communicating. The apartment is located on the bus routes and across from the train station. The views, night and day from the terrace are wonderful and I hope to return next year in the spring.

Spacious and amazing balcony

the location of the spacious apartment was excellent-right across from the train station and buses to amalfi coast. Maurizio was very accommodating and helpful. We didn’t receive an address for check in so there was a bit of confusion which got remedied!! A really nice place to stay !!

Delightful apartment, close to train station and just a short walk uphill to the town. A short train trip to Sorrento and from there to Amalfi coast, or Capri, or in the other direction to Pompeii and Naples. Our host was very helpful, lots of little extras in the apartment to make our stay even more pleasant. No hesitancy to recommend to others.

Lovely time in Meta

Had a great holiday in this apartment. Great location near a train station so makes it easy to do trips to Pompeii, Sorrento and Amalfi. Apartment is in town so easy to walk to shops restaurants and meta beach too. Had a really nice meal out in restaurant tico tico with a lovely view from their terrace. We drove to the apartment but the nearest parking is in a private block about 50meters from the apartment at a cost of €5 per day. Did manage to pull in to load and unload. Inside the apartment had everything we needed and has a lovely Italian feel. For any parents looking at this apartment there are waterproof covers on all the beds which may save on packing space. Washing machine also very welcome. Lovely to sit in the balcony and have a meal or a glass of wine. Lots of cars and mopeds use the road outside the flat so you will get quite a lot of horn noise as is customary in Italy. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Stay in Meta for easy access to Sorrento, Pompeii and Amalfi Coast

Four of us (2 couples) were very comfortable in this lovely, well situated apartment, for 5 nights, in a king sized bed (in bedroom) and a queen pull-out couch in sitting room. If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are a plus--average street noise and church bells that chime every 15 mins. Our host prepared the kitchen with coffee, milk, fresh oranges, fruit juice and more! It's a 2 min. walk to the train station and bus. 10 minutes to groceries, two very good restaurants, a bakery, and other shops. The deck is roomy and looks out at the mountains. Kitchen is well equipped w/plenty of dishes, pots and pans. No microwave, but stove/oven work well. We would definitely return!

Fantastic stay in lovely apartment in Meta

We loved our spotlessly clean apartment in Meta! Grazie was such an absolute amazing hostess. She greeted us when we arrived and reviewed everything in detail, as well as providing some local tips. The apartment is the most convenient apartment we have stayed at in Europe. The train and buses literally were out the door! Grazie also provided a lovely, well stocked basket of food, coffee, cookies, toast etc., as well as milk, juice and water in the refrigerator. This was immensely appreciated after being up for almost 30 hours—so incredibly thoughtful! We would HIGHLYrecommend staying at this lovely apartment! Our Stay in Meta Italy

We loved the apartment. great location between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento etc. Close to the sea, Beautiful views of the sea. Lots of room in the apartment. My only complaint would be to get a new mattress. My wife and I both found the mattress quite unforgiving... it was quite hard as well as the pillows. A small complaint... other than that it was great, and Grazia was very cordial as well as easy to work with. Would stay there again.

Perfect base to explore Amalfi coast

The apartment was perfect for exploring, it was across the road from both the bus stop and the train station. We would certainly like to stay here again. Meta has a lovely beach which we enjoyed. It is a lovely walk down to the beach and then there is a bus that runs frequently from the beach back up to the bus stop opposite the apartment and then on to Sorrento (1.20 Euro) We would certainly recommend a stay here.

Lovely apartment in Meta

This Meta apartment was perfect for our first time to Italy. We traveled by train and the location was convenient. It was away from the tourist destinations, which made our visit more pleasant. Meta offers kayaking and swimming as well as welcoming people and delicious restaurants. We started each day with breakfast on the balcony. The summer months are hot so it was nice to come home to an air conditioned apartment. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and Grazia was a wonderful host.

Beautiful apartment, in an ideal location for exploring.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this apartment. I am very happy to say that it is everything it says and more! The photos really don't do it justice, there is an element of wow factor when you first walk in. The owner met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. We were shown everything and things were explained to us. There was a basket of food items to start us off and some beautiful fresh oranges, this was a nice touch, as it allowed us to have a cup of tea and rest before we went exploring. We were told about local restaurants and where the supermarket is. This was all a great help, having just arrived. Our stay here was amazing, lazy breakfasts on the terrace and cool afternoons in the air conditioned rooms. The apartment is located a 5 min walk from the Circumvesuviana station. This gives access to Sorrento, Naples and amazing places in between. We used this the whole of our stay and it cost us 5.20 Euros return to Sorrento. It is very easy to get around and very cheap. There is a bus stop outside the apartments too and you can get a bus to Sorrento or down to Meta beach. Meta beach is beautiful, the facilities are amazing. It is a 15/20 min walk downhill to the beach and the bus brings you back up. We had a wonderful stay and this was made better by having a lovely base. We would happily return here if we went to Sorrento again. Highly recommend the apartment, very high standard and good facilities. Thank you both for making out stay in Italy a pleasant one!
