This was a great place to stay as a stop over, very clean with good amenities. The use of a kitchen area , fridge and lounge area was really great. We only had a drink in the bar but there is the option to eat. It is near the road but little road noise and not too noise from the pub . There is a shared bathroom but as we were the only ones staying we had sole use. Methven is a nice town , hot pools are lovely . Would definitely stay again

A lovely country pub with a clean and comfy room. Just don't book on a Friday night as the locals 'sing?' karaoke until midnight and the clean up continues until 1.30am. Not even noise-cancelling headphones could keep that din out!
