Our stay was okay. The whole staff was really amazing. Very friendly and welcoming. The room was big but it basically has no windows! There were windows but covered from the outside; kind of weird. At least the room was very quiet. The towels were a bit old and there were only two and one hand towel. The shower curtain was also in not great condition. The location was okay but just far from Polanco. I wouldn’t stay there again.

For the price and name, I over expected.

Guest services went above and beyond to make me happy. They did upgrade me to a room that seemed to be not used in a long time. Was incomplete with no toiletries, bathrobe, sleepers, dusty. But after couple of email they decide to change my room, we came into an agreement that was ok to stay there but must be clean and complete, since I have taken all my clothes and belongings out of my baggage.

Every staff member was extremely polite & very helpful. The room decor is dated, but was clean and spacious. There was no microwave oven, but did have a mini fridge.

Wonderful value in Mex City

Really really like this hotel. We return to Mex City and stay here almost every visit ( 6-8 visits total ). Sure the pipes make a little noise, but overall the staff and location and cleanliness are tops

3 star hotel at best

This is NOT a 4 star hotel by any means, and I had to question whether it was a real Le Meridien. Not the Meridien I remember. The staff was lacadaisical at best, the rooms were tired and dirty, the housekeeping was off and on, and the location was very far from ideal.

They have elevator problems that appeared not to be taken care of. We were limited to only one elevator. My wife and I are over 80 years old and we had to cross over a very high bathtub in order to shower. No anti skid material on tub. Not “cool”.

CDMX HOTEL EXPERIENCE

The good: Great location, good looking building, easy to find. Service was very good. Accommodated early check in. 2 small bottles of drinking water provided per day. Very spacious rooms, AC works great, bellman is amazing. Great price! The Bad: Property appears dated, ceiling in the bathroom was peeling really bad, phone in the room wasn’t working & the light it emitted was supper bright, had to put a towel over it. One day the cleaning lady left only one towel. There’s absolutely no outlets on one side of the bed, I guess they assumed only one person will need to charge their phone. Do not eat at their restaurant. Food was horrible and the service was even worse.
