This was a decent stay. Pros: - Great area - Clean room with good layout and comfortable beds - friendly front desk Cons: - Disappointed that the Skybar was not open during our visit. - There is a sewage smell in the hallways that sometimes is present in the rooms also. It ranges from a faint smell, to more pungent. Definitely not ideal. - fridge in room didn't seem to work

Solid stay for the price

Nice facilities, friendly staff, and solid breakfast buffet. But our room was on the smaller side, and it had some quirks that seem to denote a lack of attention to detail - we had no hand soap, shower gels were almost empty, bathroom door didn’t close properly, shower head not working properly, and broken toilet seat. Beds were comfy. Overall, not bad for the price.

Great 8 day stay

I stayed for 8 days. Breakfast on the Sunday was a bit of a cluster with not many options and then they weren’t sure of how to ensure that my breakfast which was included should be signed for. All of these were rectified for the rest of my stay. The staff were all very gracious and attentive. Breakfast was buffet and hot food to order. Room service was quick and delicious. I switched rooms for my own preference when my friend left and my partner joined me. This was easy and seamless. Concierge, Mariel, was amazing at getting us great reservations. She go me into Pujol!!! Condessa and Avenida Amsterdam is right around the corner. I am a runner so the loop was great to do and cool enough on hot days. Ad a solo woman running, I felt totally safe as there were lots of female runners on that loop also. Be mindful of the elevation. I used laundry services: fast and well priced (clothes were returned same day) I would definitely go back the Mondrian. My only disappointment is that the skybar was closed. It didn’t say this on the website. Nonetheless, CDMX is fantastic to discover so many great museums, bars and restaurants.

Well located modern style hotel convenient for La Condesa and Roma districts. Comfortable room and bed. We had no noise issues unlike other reviews. It was pretty chilly eating breakfast in the rooftop restaurant (in December/January) - ask for the patio heaters to be turned on.

The hotel is located in Condesa where you can walk to various restaurants and cafes easily. The area is very safe to walk around. The staff members were very friendly and helpful! What I had the most problem was the pungent odor from the toilet.

Todo el hotel OK, elegimos Mondrian por ser de calidad pero nos quedó a deber… nuestro baño se inundó y apestaba a alcantarilla, hablamos para quejarnos pero eran casi las 12 de la noche, estábamos cansados y nos dormimos, sin embargo en la mañana nos despertó el olor y nos salimos antes de lo que hubiéramos querido, me pesa mucho porque no es un hotel barato y fue una escapada de un día. Definitivamente nos afectó totalmente la experiencia de nuestro viaje

We stayed for four nights at the Mondrian. We found the staff friendly and happy to help. The buffet breakfast included was good, but it is the same every day so if you want variety you will be disappointed. The Rooftop Sky Lounge was not open the entire time we were there, which was disappointing as it was a selling feature for us. The rooms are tight but well appointed and the beds comfortable. There was street noise and you could hear people moving in the hall, etc. Something to be mindful of if you are super sensitive to noises. The bathroom was a stall toilet and shower and open sink. I personally prefer a proper door so this was also disappointing for me.
