Really the only thing I liked about this place was how close it was to the Main plaza, that's the reason I gave it 2 stars.
Very dated, floor had cracks and stains. The bathroom was not properly working, no hot water, toilet broke on our 2nd day

Illegal hostel (not even hotel). The young and old lady who were taking care od everything were geeat workers in an awful place (and were also probably treated as illegal workers too). It is like an old "youth hostel" in a great neighborhood

This property is a hidden gem. It is not fancy at all. It is in a wonderful location, walking distance to Plaza Hidalgo, restaurants, museums. If you are a frugal traveler and use your room to bathe and sleep, this is your spot. We were treated so well here, always someone on site and you can get coffee, breakfast and other snacks for purchase at the hotel.

The property location is perfect, I felt safe. Needs to maintain the cleanliness better. Maybe with room spray, The TV had no Chanels to watch, no local TV communication. Very nice stay, lovely rooms and facilities, outside door is impressive but there's no sign on it, the address we were told was #82, but it's actually #76 next door, good luck finding it, but i'd go back, great price and friendly staff.

The location was perfect to walk to most of the Coyoacan sites. As far as the house, I felt as if was staying at my sister's, it was clean and had all the basics but just a house with old furniture and decor. The bed was small and not very comfortable. We were there just to sleep so it was ok.

The owner wanted a certain amount of pesos in advance aside from the Expedia rate otherwise she would cancel the reservation. I contacted her immediately and arranged to personally give her the money. When we arrived at the property the owner was not there, no one at the property knew anything about this and she never answered my message. I have been visiting CDMX for over 30 years and never had a bad experience. We were charged a fee in US$. Be very careful about this property.

This has been the most outstanding stay in Coyoacán. Pepper my love is close (walk-in distance)to local restaurants, mercados where you can find traditional foods, parishes, gothic building structures, street art, farmers markets, and so on. In addition the room is very clean, quiet, they also have an in-house food menu in case you want to dine in in the room. Mrs Lydia the hostess is SO GREAT! She is available 24/7 and just a call away. She is very helpful and attentive to any needs. My stay was over all GREAT (more than I expected) and price $ was affordable. I highly recommend staying here.

Maybe not the best but the attendant was great!

First, in all fairness we arrived late (1am) so it took awhile for the attendant to answer. We understand. The attendant was absolutely a gem. She was so kind. She did everything, cooked, cleaned attended everyone. SHE DESERVES A RAISE!!!! She made our stay that much better.
