The ceiling collapsed

The ceiling collapsed above the bed. Luckily we were gone at the time, but could have been seriously injured. We then had to fight with the host for a partial refund (we wanted a full refund considering the degree of neglegence). It is not a safely built apartment, but the host couldn't understand why we wouldn't return. He said we were lucky that they didnt charge us an extra cleaning fee to clean up the rubble and dangling electrical chords. Finding a new place to stay and arguing back and forth with the host about a refund took a lot of time and enjoyment out of our trip and we sadly ran out of time before we were able to do everything we planned to do becasue of this horrible situation.
Stayed 28 nights in Apr 2025
