Heartless Hotel That Ruined My Christmas
This hotel turned an already stressful Christmas travel delay into an absolute nightmare. I called early in the evening to let them know my arrival would be late because of holiday travel issues, and I was still told that if I arrived after 2 a.m., they would cancel my entire reservation.
That is exactly what happened: even though I showed up, they canceled my whole stay, kept all the money for the nights I originally booked, and then forced me to pay for the entire stay all over again just to have a room. No partial refund, no credit, no help—just “that’s our policy.”[itilite +1]
The lack of humanity was shocking. This was Christmas, flights were delayed everywhere, and I did everything right by calling ahead to inform them, but they still refused to make even the smallest exception. There was zero empathy, zero flexibility, and zero sense of what “hospitality” is supposed to mean.
If you value being treated with basic decency when things go wrong, stay away from this hotel. Policies are one thing, but using them as an excuse to punish guests, double-charge them, and show no compassion—especially during the holidays—is beyond unacceptable.
