The room was very clean, although it was a bit weird as we walked in with all the doors and cabinets in the kitchen opened, which i assume was done from cleaning. The only thing that I had an issue with was the communication with the host. The front desk is only where you check in and check out. They aren’t able to provide services throughout your stay. It was hard to get in contact with the host and I didn’t get a response until a day later after I had contacts Expedia for support. For some reason the microwave wasn’t working, but was fixed after someone came to look at it. One of the other issues was that the cabinet under the sink was not connected which was a minor issue but somewhat inconvenient as that is where the garbage was. If you plan to cook, you have to buy all your ingredients such as oil, salt, pepper. They do have plates, pots and pans, and everything else you need to cook with, just no condiments or anything. Overall, it was a nice stay, I will say I was in the 2nd floor so some street traffic and noises made it a bit noisy, but it was a beautiful room with a beautiful view.

Room itself was pretty good. Nice to have a full stove, fridge, etc. My complaint is that the amenities listed for the hotel are lies or exaggerations. They claim free parking. Lie. There is a parking garage a block away, and you have to pay every time you leave the garage. They claim you can submit to hotels.com for "reimbursement", but that is not the same as free parking. There is also no actual unloading area or anyone to help you unload/bring things to your room, so you have to park in a bike lane and risk a ticket while you take things up to your room, then go park your car a block away and walk back. They claim to have a "business center". Lie. At a BARE MINIMUM, a business center needs computers with internet access and a printer. They have empty rooms you can use for meetings. I specifically stayed at this hotel because I was there for a trial and needed access to a printer in the evenings, and they didn't have it. They also claimed to have a cafe and some other amenities that didn't seem to actually be operational.

Fabian at the front desk was so helpful when I arrived completely exhausted after a red eye flight. She proved to be a delight during my entire stay. All of the staff was actually great. The room was so nice, brand new. My coworkers were at first a little wary because this area of Miami is coming up block by block, but they ended up being super jealous because my room was way nicer than theirs at several different nearby hotels. Also, having a dope basketball court inside really made my stay exceptional.

Positives: the apartment is beautiful and a pleasure in which to stay. I'd be glad to return. It is convenient to transportation, groceries and a few food venues (don't miss Bobe!). We didn't use the on-site added $$ parking garage. Staff were all pleasant, but two people were exceptional. We found Fabienne at the front desk knowledgeable, efficient and competent. She answered our questions and provided us with essential information. Riccardo from maintenance was generous with his time, and explained how to use the dishwasher and TV - both with complex features! Negatives: District 225 is proximal to abandoned properties, to the south on Miami. However, security is helped by the new courthouse to the north. Probably because this is a newer property, several amenities were not yet fully operational. The most inconvenient problem was that the combination oven / microwave wasn't installed properly. After Riccardo confirmed that specialized work was needed, we contacted Jay (Nomada contact) on two separate days to schedule the work. Despite verbal confirmation that help was on the way, no one came after Riccardo. So we had to get creative to prepare the roast we'd purchased! Separately, several of the building amenities weren't yet working including the steam room (both genders) and men's sauna. The women's sauna made a loud noise when I set the timer, and the room was cold so I skipped it. However, it was working the day we arrived.

I liked that the building is brand new. Everything about the unit was well thought out from the interior to the layout. It feels very elevated and modern and minimalistic- I really enjoyed staying in and relaxing. It was very continent for the purpose of my trip and couldn’t have asked for a better location although the neighborhood itself is quite different from what you’d expect in certain other areas i.e. Miami Beach. A couple of cons: steam room was out of service and so was the dishwasher in my unit. There was a lack of clarity and protectiveness in finding a solution/answeer from the employee in the lobby on the first evening I arrived (Friday 1/23) in regards to the conditions of the sauna and steam room but I eventually received a clear response from another helpful employee to be able to utilize the sauna once during my stay. As stated above, the steam room was still out of service. These were not major enough for me to take a point off so I’m standing by the 5 star rating. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d def consider staying again.

Amazing amenities. There were two pools (the rooftop one was heated ), a really well equipped gym, basketball court, racket ball court and more. The property is very new and we were the first ones to stay at our unit. The location is convenient. Less than 10 minutes walk to Miami Central station which had a lot of food options. Target and a supermarket are also within 12-15 minutes walk. We went to the Miami Heat basketball game and were able to walk to the stadium within 15 minutes. This was definitely an expensive property to stay at so if you can take advantage of the amenities, I would do so.
