The property is in need of somebody who is in charge of this place who knows the hospitality industry ..The people at the desk were no help. The room was not cleaned each day. The toilet seat was broken ..And when I asked for basic info from the front desk they were no help

Basic -- noisy airconditioner, traffic noice, no glasses in the room, overall a bit shabby. The pool is about 1/4 the size it looks in the picture. The tables around give the impression there is a bar or cafe there, but there was nothing.

We booked 4 identical rooms for 3 nights which were to include refridgerators. When we checked in, one room was significantly smaller than the other three and only one room had a refirdgerator. When we asked the staff about having refridgerators delivered to the rooms, I was advised that there were none available. When we asked about replacing the smaller room with a room similar to the other three, we were advised the hotel was fully booked. The following morning I spoke with another person at reception in passing about the issues, Karmen. She immediately apologized and was able to have refridgerator delivered to all roooms and had the small room replaced with a small suite, all at no extra charge. She did this even though I was not really complaining but merely responding to her inquiry about the how the hotel was. Karmen went above and beyond not because she addressed our issues but that she did so even though I was not complaining nor expecting any resolution based upon what I had been advised the night before. The hotel was less than the standard I expected, based upon age and quality. I believe it has it's rating due to the fact it is a block away from the Lincoln Road Mall which is extremely convenient. The location and Karmen were the only things that really save the vacation.

The check in was superb and staff throughout the day were helpful and friendly. The pool was great and had enough shade and sunlight depending on time of day. I plan on coming back to stay at this location again.

I liked the location. What I didn’t like were the lights in the hotel room didn’t come on sometimes during the stay. Nail clippings were on the floor. Stain in the floor towel, I wouldn’t have paid the amount I paid had I seen it beforehand.

Great stay-comfortable and convenient!

Great location, walking distance to Lincoln Road. Front desk staff was very helpful. We parked in a garage across the street instead of on the street. Traders Joe’s is across the street-very convenient. Lobby was nice with coffee and complimentary snacks. The pool was closed for part of our stay due to storm/water issues, and it was still not cleaned up after opening, so did not use it. Only constructive criticism I’ll add is that it would be helpful to have a few more towels available-2 regular towels per adult instead of 1. Would definitely stay again and recommend to folks visiting South Beach!

Stayed for 2 nights, the room was smaller than expected but clean and the bed was comfortable. Our towels were not changed nor was our bed made up which is normal in Europe however, as we were only here for 2 nights that was ok. The hotel is close to shops, and the botanical gardens, and a 20 min (slow walk) to the beach. Easy to get to the main side such as downtown Miami or Brickell via uber or bus. Would recommend staying here if you're on a budget.

Problems addressed with care and speed

I encountered an issue with water pressure in my room, but the director of housekeeping made sure to address my concerns. She also moved me to another room so that repairs could be made. The service was very good and the staff was very polite. I would definitely stay again.

The pool area looked nice. They had an elevator. The staff was there 24/7 and very helpful. We were able to leave our luggage after check out as our flight didn't leave until after checkout. Room was clean. The only thing is that they did not have a mini fridge or ice available.
