This five-bedroom Palmetto Bay estate has a half-acre of tropical backyard, a private pool, four full bathrooms, and enough space that twelve people can share it comfortably without ever feeling like they’re on top of each other. It’s the kind of place families and close-knit groups book when they want to actually spend time together — a real dinner at a table that fits everyone, mornings by the pool before anyone’s quite ready to face the day, evenings that don’t require a plan.

Palmetto Bay is one of Miami’s quietest and most beautiful neighborhoods. It’s residential, it’s peaceful, and it has that genuine old-Florida feel — wide lots, big trees, unhurried streets. The whole point of staying here is to slow down a little while still being twenty minutes from everything Miami has to offer.

The Backyard
The pool and the half-acre of lush tropical landscaping behind the house are what make this property different from anything else in this price range in South Florida. It’s a genuinely large outdoor space — multiple seating areas, mature palms and flowering plants, and a pool that the master bedroom opens directly onto.

It’s designed for the kind of easy, unstructured time that’s hard to find in a city like Miami. Someone reads by the pool, a few people cook something, the kids run around — that kind of day. The landscaping gives it a canopied, private feel even though you’re in a neighborhood.

The House
Vaulted ceilings and an open layout make the main living area feel spacious even with a full house. There’s a proper dining area that seats the whole group, a kitchen that’s actually set up for real cooking — full appliances, espresso machine, drip coffee maker, complete cookware — and multiple living spaces so different people can be doing different things without crowding each other.

Smart TVs in every bedroom and the main living area. Central A/C throughout. In-home washer and dryer. The kind of practical setup that makes a week-long stay genuinely comfortable rather than just functional.

Palmetto Bay is an incorporated village in South Miami-Dade — quiet, residential, and genuinely removed from the noise of the city. Big lots, mature trees, and a neighborhood pace that’s rare this close to Miami.

It’s a great base for a family or group that wants to explore Miami during the day and come home to somewhere genuinely peaceful in the evenings.

Who Books This House
Mostly families — multi-generational trips, cousins and aunts and grandparents who haven’t all been in the same place for a while. Groups of close friends who want a real vacation rather than a hotel stay. Extended families doing a holiday or reunion trip through South Florida. We love hosting all of these and have had some wonderful stays with groups like this.

We’re in a quiet residential neighborhood and we ask that guests be respectful of the surrounding community — this is a place for relaxing and spending time together, not large gatherings or events. Our maximum occupancy is 12 guests.

Practical Details
The home is not childproofed — please supervise children around the pool.

Scheduled maintenance visits (pool service, lawn care) may occasionally occur and we’ll always let you know in advance.

All TVs are Smart TVs for streaming — no cable.

Exterior security cameras on the outside of the property only.

Traveling with a pet? You`re more than welcome to bring them along — we love that you want to. There`s a one-time fee of $150 per pet that gets settled before check-in. It helps us make sure the home is properly prepared for your arrival and kept in great shape for the guests who come after you. Just let us know when you book and we`ll take care of the rest.

What can you expect from us?

1. You’ll enjoy a clean, tastefully decorated home that looks just like the photos.

2. The property is fully equipped to anticipate your needs, so no late‑night store runs are necessary. If something essential is missing, we kindly request to let us know and we’ll be happy to take care of it.

3. Our team is genuine, responsive, and committed to your comfort. We’re available from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week. While appliances are maintained regularly, we understand that unexpected issues can happen. If so, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to help as soon as possible.

4. Our goal at Tilah Stays, is to help create memorable experiences. Ask us about car rentals, birthday set‑ups, bachelor/bachelorette decorations, and more. We’d love to make your stay extra special.

5. For birthday set‑ups, bachelor/bachelorette, or special decorations, to ensure we can prepare everything smoothly, we kindly ask that you share any special requests at least 24 hours prior to your check‑in time. This allows our team to arrange the details promptly and have everything ready to welcome you.

What is expected of you?

1. We kindly ask to please respect the neighborhood. Our homes are located in residential areas, and neighbors may not be on vacation. Keep noise to a minimum both indoors and outdoors, and please note that quiet hours are strictly enforced from 8 PM to 8 AM.

2. Please help us maintain the property by treating it respectfully and keeping it in great condition during your stay. We understand that accidents happen, but we ask that you let us know so we can replace items in time for the next guest.

3. Important Notice: Pool Attire Policy

To ensure a safe, sanitary, and premium environment for all our guests, we kindly remind you that proper swimming attire is strictly required at all times within the pool area.

4. Check‑in and check‑out at the agreed times. We operate on a tight schedule, with new guests often arriving the same day you depart. Lawn maintenance and cleaning services are also on a set schedule and needed to keep the property in great condition. Please be aware that these services cannot be rescheduled.
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Biscayne National Park. The vacation home offers a kitchen and 4 bathrooms.

This house was beautiful and the owners where quick to responses to questions.. The property was well-maintained and our family had a blast. It was large enough to entertain about 18 people for my son Graduation from Medical School at the University Miami.
