Cute and accommodating

I stayed at Hotel Chelsea for one night before embarking on a cruise. I was mostly happy with my experience. The hotel was cute and cozy. It had great ambiance downstairs with the restaurant/bar attached. My only issue is that there seemed to be some miscommunications. I received a message on Hotels.com before check-in that the hotel would not hold my luggage, so we paid to have our luggage held somewhere else for the day until we could check in. When we checked in, we received a paper that stated that they did indeed hold luggage. They did hold our luggage for a couple hours after we checked out. Additionally, the website stated that there was free coffee in the lobby at a certain time, but hotel staff confirmed with me that was not available when I came down to look. However, a very kind staff member provided us with complimentary Cuban espresso for the mishap. All in all, I would stay here again when I return next year.

This property gets two stars only It was cold and damp when I was in Miami and the air conditioning was blasting. I tried to change the temperature to heat.!!! Call downstairs reception they said there is no heat !! What the hell is the maintenance fee for then? The mould odours was very bad

ROACHES! broken windos, ripped sheets, noisy, and management doesnt care. I was given a generic buianess card when i complianed. AND was sent to 711 for coffee in the morning. Just poor in every way. Cant find a way to upload pucs of the RIACHES! Just stay away!

Cool vibe

Loved the decor in the room. Very unique, modern with an industrial twist. The restaurant was great. Amazing food and service. Try the empanadas, you won’t be disappointed.

Hotel Chelsea is a nice place to stay in South Beach. The only thing they could improve on are more accessible outlets or usb connections and a mirror in the bedroom. The outlets are really lacking.

Although it is on south beach so it can be a bit noisy the location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful and it’s in a great south beach location.

The staff were very attentive. Check-in was smooth, room was very nice. Two minute walk to Ocean Drive and lots of eateries and night life. We did not see any of the complaints we read in some reviews. We would definitely stay there again.

Good value, average service

Hotel was a good value for the price, and the room was comfortable. However, the hot water often did not work, there were bottles of shampoo and soap that were never filled, and our keys stopped working several times and we had to swap them out. Good value but service could be better.

This was a great location for our family of 4 for our 1 night in Miami before heading down to the Keys. It was walkable to the beach and the art deco architecture that drew us to this area. It's nice that it was a few blocks off Ocean Avenue, so was quiet. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. It wasn't great that the 2 beds were pushed against the wall, and the shower drainage wasn't great. Overall, it was a good fit for one night.
