This hotel has been in a steady state of disrepair for several years. I visit Miami once a year and always stayed here because it is close to where I visit. This year my room's lights would flicker and dim everytime I plugged anything into the wall, the room reaked of cigarette smoke (supposed to be non-smoking), and I left covered in bed bug bites.

Disappointed

We had to change rooms because the shower did not work. The refrigerator was not cool. Some of the staff were very nice but one of the receptionists refused to accept the shower was broken. The handy man came to look at fridge and was quite rude stating that the fridge was fine. Insisted we had filled it up too much but we had only just put food in 15 minutes before. The second room was much better so the rest of our stay was good.

Pet friendly hotel, charming pool and deck area, great warm breakfast buffet, and the entire staff, including housekeeping, was friendly and helpful. Overall wonderful experience for the value and price.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself had issues; dead roach out in the open, and our shower did not change temperature… it only turned on and stayed at a room temperature because the knob was broken.
